California Privacy Notice

This California Privacy Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. It describes the personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA/CPRA").

Who we are

Direct Home Holding Company LLC ("Direct Home," "we," "us," or "our") is a home-improvement referral and appointment-setting service across five trades — solar, roofing, windows, artificial turf, and pools. We connect homeowners with vetted, licensed, independent local installers; an installer performs the consultation and any work. We are located at 518 S 2420 W, Provo, UT 84601.

Categories of personal information we collect

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

Identifiers — name, email address, phone number, and IP address.
Contact and customer records — your home or business address and the details you submit with a quote request.
Commercial / project information — the trades you're interested in, approximate monthly utility bill, project type, timeframe, and related preferences.
Internet or other electronic network activity — browser/user-agent, referring page, pages viewed, events triggered, and how you interact with our site.
Geolocation (approximate) — coarse location derived from your IP address or submitted address.
Inferences — characteristics drawn from the above to match you with appropriate installers.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically through cookies and analytics, and from your interactions with our forms and lead-certification tools.

Business and commercial purposes for collection

To contact you, answer your inquiries, and book your free consultation by phone, SMS, and email.
To match your request with vetted independent installer(s) and pass your details to them so they can prepare a quote.
To verify and document your consent and maintain accurate records.
To operate, secure, measure, and improve our website and services, and to prevent fraud.
To comply with legal obligations.

"Sale" or "sharing" of personal information

Because we share the contact and project details you submit with the matched installer partner(s), this disclosure may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. In the past 12 months, we have disclosed identifiers, contact/customer records, and commercial/project information to matched installer partners for this purpose.

You can opt out of this sale or sharing at any time. Use our Your Privacy Choices page or email support@directhome.ai with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share." We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in or text-messaging consent data for marketing, ever — it is used only to deliver the messages you asked to receive. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Categories of third parties

We disclose personal information to: matched independent installer partners; service providers and technology vendors that support our website, analytics, messaging, payment processing, and lead-certification; and authorities or other parties where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Your California privacy rights

Right to know / access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out of sale/sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information.
Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — to the extent we use any sensitive personal information, you may request that we limit its use to what is necessary to provide our services.
Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

We will verify your request as required by law and respond within the timeframes the CCPA/CPRA requires. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.
