The lawn is the largest single surface on the property, and the first one read from the street. Direct Turfing replaces thirsty, uneven grass with premium water-wise turf — set on an engineered base, graded to drain, and trued with surveyor instruments rather than eyesight.
The result is a ground plane that holds its line in January exactly as it does in July — no mowing, no browning, no irrigation arms race. A year-round manicure, installed once and kept by design rather than by labor.

The Method
Survey. Base. Lay.
Survey
The grounds are shot with laser levels — grades, drainage paths, and edges mapped before a blade of old grass is lifted.
Base
Excavation, compacted aggregate, and drainage rock build a base that will not settle, shift, or pond.
Lay
Turf is seamed, pinned, and infilled by hand, then power-brushed to a uniform stand. Edges are cut to the line.
The Craft
What Disappears Is the Point
A turf installation is judged by everything you never notice. The work that matters most is buried, seamed, or brushed in — and it is where our crews spend most of their time.
Water exits through the base, never across the surface. Percolation is tested before the turf goes down, not apologized for after.
Panels are S-cut and joined against the grain, so the seam disappears into the stand instead of catching the afternoon light.
Measured by weight per square foot and brushed in passes — the discipline that keeps fibers upright for a decade, not a season.
